The theme of the symposium was ‘Reaching Higher’ and a guest Rabbi from Eretz Yisroel in addition to local Rabbonim and Rebbetzins inspired the girls. It comprised of a full day of learning giving the girls the opportunity to take a break from their studies and spiritually reconnect.
It was a chance for the girls to listen to Shiurim, attend workshops and have conversations with Rabbonim, Rebbetzins and other speakers that they would not normally have the opportunity to do so.
The aim was to give the girls a chance to grow in an out of school experience.
Issues faced/solutions and how BEST helped:Your invaluable support, played a pivotal role in overcoming our funding obstacles. The grant not only provided the necessary funds but also served as a vote of confidence in our initiative. It allowed us to secure top-notch speakers, provide scholarships for underprivileged participants, and ensure the overall success of the symposium.
Symposium on Reaching Higher for Menorah High For Girls
Thanks to the incredible support and grant provided by the BEST committee, our Early Years playground has undergone a remarkable transformation. Their generosity has allowed us to create a vibrant, safe, and engaging space for our youngest learners. The impact of their contribution on the children's happiness and development is immeasurable. We are immensely grateful for BEST’s dedication to fostering enriched learning environments.
I would like to express my deepest gratitude for the generous grant provided by BEST for our recent symposium on Reaching Higher. Your support has been instrumental in making our event a resounding success. The financial assistance not only allowed us to cover essential expenses but also enabled us to elevate the quality of the symposium, bringing in top-notch speakers and providing valuable resources for participants.
Thank you BEST for the £10,000 grant. It has made a huge difference to our science department and its improved facility
The grant from BEST enabled the school to completely refurbish the changing rooms resulting in complete culture change in the approach to and participation in sporting and gym activities in the School.
It is now five years since we received a £10,000 grant from BEST which we used to buy 20 computers, and a storage / re-charging cupboard, to provide computer lessons for our girls.
We cannot thank you enough for enabling us to set up that provision for our girls. They enjoy the IT lessons and are gaining valuable life-skills which will serve them well for their future
Thanks to the support of BEST, our students and staff feel safer and our mangement team is better informed. We very much appreciate your support, which has had a big impact
We are very grateful to BEST for their continued support. The projects that they have funded allow us to support our students effectively, each and every day. On behalf of the leadership team and school community, thank you
BEST is a truly communal charity organisation. Your most generous donation to our school, which is dedicated to serving the North West London community, is critically assisting us towards meeting our financial goals in these very challenging times.
MGS is a key institution in our kehilla, and in its enabling schools to thrive, so is BEST. Thank you on behalf of all the faculty and students for your dedication and goodwill.
BEST funding is a huge assistance for schools, both in allowing schools to do larger building and infrastructure projects than would otherwise have been possible and also in their ongoing support to help ongoing donations via the voucher scheme.
The funding that the school receives from BEST, and the fundraising that BEST does on behalf of the school community is truly appreciated and allows us to offer a richer and stronger school experience to our pupils.
